(1) At 20th November in Mumbai, Aishwarya Rai charmed in an elaborate Anarkali dress at Teachers Achievement Awards. Her reddish brown hair, styled with an asymmetrical side parting and sleek top, framed her face. She has dedicated the Teacher People Achiever Award, which was awarded to her, to her father Krishnaraj Rai on the eve of his birthday.

As per Latest 36 Years old Aishwarya Rai Interviews, she said that, "It’s very humbling. I would like to say that it's the people who are responsible for being probably the most propelling force for my quest for my excellence in whatever I take on in life. And I thank you all for all your love, blessings and good wishes. Today is my father's birthday so I would like to dedicate this award to him."

Aishwarya was honored with the People Achiever award at the event, which she dedicated to her father Krishnaraj Rai, whose birthday was the same day.

"I keep joking that the pace of my life has been so hectic ever since high school. From Class 12, when I was a science student, till date it has only been a hectic pace and that's the only pace perhaps my body knows now."

"Spending time together it is quite a holiday for me. It doesn't matter where we are. We will just be happy to make that time together and that we will make sure we do."

(1) Bollywood Hottest Actress Vidya Balan has rubbished reports claiming that she will be the brand ambassador for the embattled Kochi IPL team. Hot Vidya Balan belongs to a Palakkad Brahmin family was the fan favorite to be the ambassador for the team from Kerala, but Balan said that she has not even been approached with a proposal.

As Per Latest Vidya Balan Interviews, she said that, "I have no clue about it and no one has approached me yet."


(2) Hot Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan, parliamentarian Priya Dutt and boxer Mary Kom were among those who were honored with the 'Tejaswini' award for young women achievers here today. As per 31 years-old Hottest Vidya Balan Comments, she said that, "I am humbled and feel dwarfed standing on this stage receiving the award alongside the likes of Priya Dutt and Sunita Krishnan (activist) whose contribution is enormous in comparison to me."

Bollywood takes the cake at 56th National Awards.

Bollywood ruled the 56th National Film Awards 2010 Saturday, bagging as many as 13 awards, with films like Fashion, Rock On!!, Firaaq and Jodha Akbar winning two awards each in various categories. But Bengali film Antaheen won the best feature film award and three more.

While Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, a dark tale about the Indian fashion industry, won its lead Priyanka Chopra the best actress award and got Hot Kangana Ranaut the best supporting actress honor, Farhan Akhtar's cult music-based film Rock On got the Best Hindi Film Award. Actor Arjun Rampal won the best supporting actor for the same film.

In a post on micro-blogging website Twitter after the win, Priyanka who portrayed the role of an aspiring model in the film, wrote, “Won the National Award for fashion! Aaaaaaaahhhh! Too excited!! God is kind and so are all of u! (sic)." The 27-year-old actress also thanked her cast and congratulated her co-star Kangana Ranaut.

Ashutosh Gowariker's epic Jodha Akbar won Chinni Prakash and his wife Rekha Prakash the best choreography award for the song Azeem-o-shaan shehenshah, a number that depicts dance forms of different Indian states. Designer Neeta Lulla, who styled actress Aishwarya Rai in the film, won the best costume designer award.

Nandita Das' directorial debut Firaaq, based on the 2002 Gujarat riots, won the awards for best editing (A. Sreekar Prasad) and best art direction (Gautam Sen).

Even films like A Wednesday, Roadside Romeo, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye, Mumbai Meri Jaan and Thanks Maa took one award each.

While Neeraj Pandey's A Wednesday has bagged the Indira Gandhi award for Best First Film of a director, Yash Raj Films' Roadside Romeo bagged the best animation film.

Dibakar Banerjee's satirical Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! has been adjudged the best popular film providing wholesome entertainment, Mumbai Meri Jaan won the award for best special effects (Govardhan), and Thanks Maa has got Shams Patel the best child artist award.

Bollywood Star Screen Awards News Gossip 2010































































Bollywood Most Successful Film, 3 Idiots swept the 16th annual Star Screen Awards Sunday night, bagging 10 awards including best film and best director for Rajkumar Hirani at a star-studded ceremony held in Mumbai.

Another big winner was the critically acclaimed “Paa,” starring 67-year-old Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who bagged best actor for his performance as a 12-year-old boy suffering from a rare aging disease. The film's co-star Vidya Balan won best actress for her portrayal as Bachchan's onscreen mother.

“Idiots," which opened December 25, is still running strong after collecting a record $51 million (2.4 billion rupees) from both domestic and international markets within its first 10 days of release.

The film also won Best Screenplay for Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijat Joshi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra; Best Choreographer, Bosco Ceaser; best dialogue, Abhijat Joshi; Best Newcomer Male, Omi Vaidya; Best Actor in a Comic Role – Male, Omi Vaidya; Best Actor in a Negative Role, Boman Irani; and Popular Choice Award for Best ActorFemale, Hot Kareena Kapoor.

Oscar winner A R Rahman (“Slumdog Millionaire”) won best music for “Dilhi 6,” while most promising debut director went to Hot Nandita Das for “Firaaq."
