Asin – accept challenge to eat Thai insects from Salman Khan

(1) Recently at Thailand, on the sets of Bollywood Upcoming Movies 2011 name ‘Ready’, Salman Khan challenged Hottest Asin to munch a local Thai insect and to his shock she actually popped the insect into her mouth.

The entire crew including Director Anees Bazmee and Producer Bhushan Kumar and Rajat Rawail were left floored with her attitude.

As per Latest Asin Interviews, she said that, "There's nothing to it... it's all in the mind."

(2) She and her family maintain that they would rather be quiet about charitable activities. She had previously initiated an eye check-up camp in strife-torn Sri Lanka and also runs a school for the under-privileged in India.

She has never really spoken about her charitable activities because she believes that these things are not an ideal way to grab headlines. So, even if she is doing something for the poor, she feels that she would rather not talk about it.

Asin was getting ready for the shoot when there was a leakage in gas line and the vanity van suddenly became stuffy and gloomy. However, things were soon under control. Asin has completed her work for the Karaikudi schedule and gone back to Mumbai.

With no Bollywood offers, Asin moves south

After her film ‘London Dreams’ failed to click at the box office, Asin Thottumkal is left without work in the Hindi film industry.

“I have no films as of now. All that I can reveal is that future projects are under production and I can’t talk about them until the producers give me a go- ahead,” Asin divulged.

Though Hot Asin Thottumkal assured us that her fans would see more of her in movies this year, we hear from sources that with no Bollywood offers on hand, Asin is now looking at South Indian film possibilities. Buzz is that Asin has agreed to do a Malayalam film for a renowned director. She is also reportedly in talks with some other filmmakers from South India.

In between there were rumours that Asin was supposed to pair up with Abhishek Bachchan for Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se’. However, the actress rejected the project finding the script not too appealing. We wonder if being so strictly choosy will prove a boon or bane for this talented actress.
