Big B Brings 'Aapka Colors' to the U.S.

Bollywood is truly taking over the west! One of India's entertainment channels, "Aapka Colors," has teamed up with Dish Network to launch in the U.S.!

After launching in the U.K. last week, "Aapka Colors" is now coming to America, bringing popular shows like "Jai Shri Krishna," "Swarg," "Balika Vadhu," "Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi" with Akshay Kumar and ”National Bingo" with Abhishek Bachchan to the U.S. audience.

"Aapka Colors" have chosen Bollywood Veteran Amitabh Bachchan to represent the channel in the U.S. and he said that "by taking on the responsibility of being its brand ambassador, I feel honored in being able to partner with a media channel that has been a conduit of social change while churning out excellent quality entertainment."

He also explained that "I am sure "Aapka Colors", with its myriad hues of entertainment, will spread its magic in the United States as well, as it did in India."

With no Bollywood offers, Asin moves south

After her film ‘London Dreams’ failed to click at the box office, Asin Thottumkal is left without work in the Hindi film industry.

“I have no films as of now. All that I can reveal is that future projects are under production and I can’t talk about them until the producers give me a go- ahead,” Asin divulged.

Though Hot Asin Thottumkal assured us that her fans would see more of her in movies this year, we hear from sources that with no Bollywood offers on hand, Asin is now looking at South Indian film possibilities. Buzz is that Asin has agreed to do a Malayalam film for a renowned director. She is also reportedly in talks with some other filmmakers from South India.

In between there were rumours that Asin was supposed to pair up with Abhishek Bachchan for Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se’. However, the actress rejected the project finding the script not too appealing. We wonder if being so strictly choosy will prove a boon or bane for this talented actress.
