Farah Khan is a pro when it comes to recreating the bygone era in her films. She has given enough proof of that in her last two releases – Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na . She will recreate a lot of the bygone Bollywood days in her next film Tees Maar Khan as well.
Its common knowledge by now that Katrina Kaif, who plays an item-girl in the film, will be dancing to the tune of ‘ Jhumma Chumma De De ’ in Tees Maar Khan . Now Farah Khan wants her to pay a tribute to another yesteryear actress. But this time it’s no item girl. Katrina Kaif will pay a tribute to the mesmerizing yesteryear actress Meena Kumari.
As a tribute to the yesteryear actress, Katrina Kaif will don her Pakeezah look for a special Qawwali number also starring Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.
Confirms director Farah Khan who has also choreographed the song, “Katrina's look has been modeled on ' Pakeezah ' .While Akshay and Salman can be expected to have a lot of fun with this track, it belongs to Katrina as she is going to surprise the audience.”
The Qawalli track titled Wallah Re Wallah will have a complete local Mumbaiyya feel to it and will be a complete foot- tapper much like the music in all of Farah Khan’s movies.
